Pricing
Phase 1: Preliminary consulting, research, and planning. For any new client, a small up-front fee may be charged for initial consulting, research and planning. Once an account progresses to the media placement phase, half of this fee will be applied towards any media commissions earned by The Davis Group.
Phase 2: Ongoing planning services/media negotiation, buying, and reconciliation. After Phase 1, our fees become purely commission-based. These commissions are charged on a "sliding scale" depending upon project scope and level of annual media placement. In many cases, a reduced commission percentage (of the maximum 15%) allows clients to reinvest the saved portion back into the media placement, thereby assuring every dollar provides maximum impact.
Establishing commission percentage level. Once the client-agency relationship is established, the negotiated percentage of media commissions will be customized for the account (after the first $100,000 in media is placed at 15%). The negotiated percentage will be based on the scope of services, complexity of the account, and the level of manhours dedicated to fulfilling each client's complete media needs. These reduced commissions are always made available to non-profit/government entities.
