Matalee Redus: Assistant Media Planner/Buyer

Experience: Matalee joined the Davis Group in December 2007 after gaining experience in media at GSD&M’s Idea City. While at GSD&M, Matalee started as an Assistant Promotions Planner and eventually moved to the print team as an Assistant Print Buyer. She had the opportunity to work with clients like AT&T, John Deere, AARP, and Air Force. While in college, she interned with Austin lawyer Frank Denius and was hired on full-time upon graduation. She earned her B. S. in Communication Studies with a minor in French from The University of Texas at Austin and graduated in December 2004.

Matalee is very involved in the Young Professional Leadership Committee, which partners with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Austin to raise money for their charity. She is in charge of planning a yearly wine tasting event, which helps raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis with the young professionals of Austin. Matalee also started a coed and men's indoor soccer team for her friends, and currently plays forward on the coed team.

With Matalee's knowledge in print, promotions, and event planning she brings many fresh ideas to the table for planning and executing media buys. Her experience with many clients helps her understand and meet the needs of her accounts.
